Well,dear professors,thank you,thank you for your question.My Chinese name is ****.My mother gave me this name because she wanted me to be as brave as a soldier.I major in environmental engineering.My undergraduate period will be accomplished in **** in July,2011.And now,I'm striving for obtaining a key to your prestigious university.（对提问表示感谢，简短地介绍了一下名字的意义，加深印象，再了一下本科学校）

I was born in ****,the mountainous area of Sichuan province.I have no famous last name and both of my parents are farmers.When I was six years old,for giving me a better education,my parents moved to ****,Hubei province.For me,they packed up their few worldly possessions and traveled along Yangtze River in search of a new life;for me,they toiled in sweatshops and settled an unfamiliar place,endured the lack of relatives and plowed the hard earth.Time and again they struggled and worked till their hands were raw so that I might live a better life.I think my parents have given me the greatest influence.As farmers,they almost did all they could to develop my imagination,creativity and independence.(讲了一下自己的真实经历，从遥远的山区，千里迢迢，只是因为一对农民父母能给孩子一个好的教育机会，其中的辛酸可想而知。有几句是仿奥巴马就职演说里的，基本原话，但内容是自己的真实故事，讲得也带感情，我感觉当时老师都在认真地听，因为大多数人都爱听别人真实的故事。呵呵，多背英文材料还是蛮有好处啊，英语学习的确是功在平时，如果平时没有注意奥巴马的演讲，没有认真地听，没有背诵得很熟练，在这种场合也不会想到用了)

I'm convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.So during my time in university,I have regarded reading as a kind of life style.Besides professional books,I exceedingly enjoy reading biographies,especially those of well-known celebrities.I have been benefiting a lot from this life style.（简单介绍了一下本科时的学习情况，讲得比较范，考官提问时自己好回答些）

As for sports,I'm a basketball buff .My position is small forward.I enjoy the feeling of fierce resistance on the court.What's more,in basketball teamwork is even more important than individual skill.Not only playing basketball made me physically and mentally strong but also brought me a lot of friends.No man is an island.The bird a nest,a spider a web,man friendship.I am ready to be every one's friend.Of course,you,my respectful professors.（谈自己的兴趣，自己真正比较在行，比较了解的，这样老师提问就不怕了，强调一下团队协作最好，喜欢交朋友，拉近与老师的距离，面试时说的时候要真诚，面带微笑）

I love the feeling in the university,if luckily I get the chance to learn environmental engineering in ****I will concentrate my energy on the theoretical knowledge and research.After earning my master degree,I want to devote myself to the western development drive. And I hope I can set up my own company and have my own lab in the future.I'm very clear that it's not an easy task,but success will not belong to the faint-hearted,to those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather it belongs to the risk-takers,the doers, the makers of things.That's my dream and dream is the most important ingredient in the recipe of my life. （表明态度，投身西部，其实不一定会去，创业，是真实的想法。中间也用到了奥巴马的几句话，也可谈读博什么的，好像老师比较喜欢有读博志向的学生，我面试的时候，考官对的表现比较满意，就问我读不读博，我就老实地说目前还没有打算，然后又连着问了两遍，我还是那样答的，并陈述了些理由，感觉当时老师就没开始那么高兴了）

几点心得：

1、 自己动手写，写真实的东西。

2、 背熟，多模拟几遍，我当时自己用手机录了几遍，又听了几遍，改善了些自己不满意的。

3、 找出自己介绍中老师有可能提问的地方，自己准备下

4、 自我介绍时，要带有感情，真诚，面带微笑，有眼神交流。
