My view of college life
My view of college life
People go to college for different purposes and they acquire different things at college. The opinion about what college life is really like is differ from individuals to individuals. Some people say college is a free and forgiving world which can not prepare us for real life, simultaneously we are experiencing something not useful to learn for the real world in the college. However, I believe it is radical for this opinion of college life.
I have been at college for nearly a year and a half, and in my personal ideas, I think college is not in the true significance society rather than it serves as a bridging exist between traditional school and society. The college years, to me, is a rewarding experience as I have learned many useful things. First of all, I have learned to be independent, make crucial decisions on my own, and become responsible for them. I have learned to manage my own time and money properly. In most of cases, I make my own decisions on what dresses to wear, what select courses to choose, and who to make friends with. Secondly, I have become more mature. Now, I know myself better and see my strengths and weaknesses more clearly. I have also started to care more about the outside world, such as charity work and global climate change.
