Dear Manager,

I am writing to request a refund for a Kindle Fire. On the 28th October 2013, I purchased a Kindle Fire HD 8.9” from Amazon for $299. Upon I paid, I chose the standard shipping option which was 3 to 5 business days for delivery. However, the delivery delayed for more than a week, and I did not get the product until November 15th.

After I received the package, I opened it, and I found that the glass shell of the Kindle Fire was broken in pieces. Then I called the customer service to resolve this problem. They said that it would take about a month for getting a new one because the product was out of stock.

I think the shipping system worked inefficiently in terms of shipping speed and product quality. I have attached a copy of my order confirmation and request a full-refund. If you have any questions, please contact me at 302-562-0000. I hope you can resolve this issue soon, or I will have no choice but to directly contact the district manager.
