As we know, Genesis is the first part of Bible. From this part, we can get some knowledge about origins. Specifically speaking, which tells about the origin of all things, and write down how human beings were created and the events of man's fall, describing the existence and uniqueness of God, in what way the universe is generated, family formation, the origin of sin and the formation and also the development of the Israel people, and the progression of calling voters and covenant with Israel through God, which enlightened the God's love for the elect and Christ-orient plan of salvation gradually. However, I pay much attention to those four main characters, they play a key role in Genesis and each of them has his special experiences and exclusive features. And my analyses are as follow.
The first one is Abraham, he is a great faith of God, who believed the promises of God. From this part, I learned that Abraham followed God's footsteps, when God let him leave his hometown as well as his father's area, he even did not know where to go, but by virtue of his faith he decides to follow God, because he always believed that God would led him and blesshim, therefore he uses real behavior to respond to God. God demanded Abraham to go, "I will show you the way to go," and promised "I will bless you (Abraham), and call your name Great", and make the nation --- Abraham, “being a great nation." Here I learned that Abraham believed God's guidance and follow the God’s steps, God really faithful to lead him, and bless his descendants to live a happy life. Here I get the conclusions: When we take God's promises, even though we will suffer the trials of confidence, experience the difficulties and frustration and sufferings, God is always protect us with his hand, God is always around us, just exerts the same affection like love Abraham and finally make Abraham gets into the Promised Land.
The second one is Isaac, who's experiences are rather plain when Compared with other biblical fathers, he has fewer tragedies in life. With his father's promise, he lives an ordinary life. But you can see that from where Abraham offered Isaac, Isaac did not struggle facing death, he was very obedient and peaceful, so there is no reference in the Bible about his angry and ruthless when his father managed to kill him for sacrifice, Isaac live a blessed life because of obedience. The birth of Isaac is the God's promise and the God’s ability achievement, because Jesus born to the descendants of Isaac, It is a destiny that Isaac will has the descendant called Jesus. In other words, Isaac is the appearance of Jesus.
